CONCLUSION

      As an outcome of the assignment, we are able to understand about one the latest IT gadget, Sony Xperia-Z. We learnt about the features, functions and advantages of the gadget. How each any every one of the designed is highly advanced which opens up a new world of communication among users. Next, we are able to learn how business and information systems are strongly related to each other. This shows that a business will not be able to develop efficiently without the assistance of information system and how information systems helps in business.

     In task 3, we can conclude that soft skills play an important role in information technology (IT). As an individual, one should develop these skills are it helps one to communicate efficiently with in and out of workplace. Optimism and good work ethics are always appointed out in the world of IT as dealing with technologies are not the easiest thing. However, the subordinated should be able to keep an open mind and embrace the challenge.

    Through task 4, we learned how information system has gone through a whole new revolution and this can be seen through the application, Tango. We are able to learn to how install Tango on phone and how it uses the information that they have collected from their users. In task 5, we have taken PETRONAS as an example of an organization strategy in maritime industry.  A brief history of PETRONAS is explained as well as the missions, vision and strategies. In the end we understand how PETRONAS are able to grow as a big company in the maritime industry.

     Lastly in task 6, we are able to understand about the business drivers of information system through Tanjung Pelepas Port (PTP).  Each business drivers are explained through each and every one of PTP’s operation. Business drivers are important in an organization in order to understand how an organization works.
